Reconstruction of the murder of Aleksandar Nesovic
It all started on the night of May 12, around 11 p.m., when Nesovic drove his black armored BMW X7 in front of the catering facility “Restoran 27”.
According to the statement of the prosecutor’s office, he was invited to this meeting by the former chief of the Belgrade police Veselin Milic, who suggested they meet to resolve mutual disagreements and suggested that he come without security.
When he arrived in front of the restaurant, Nesovic noticed the vehicles used by the suspects, and initially, as stated, decided not to enter the restaurant after all and informed his friend about it.
However, after a phone call from Sasa V, with whom he had been in a conflict from before, he nevertheless returned ten minutes later, entered the establishment, and sat at a table with Sasa V, Mario S., and Veselin Milic, the prosecutor’s office states.
The prosecutor’s office announced that after an argument, Sasa V., as suspected, fired several shots at Nesovic.
The pistol from which the shots were fired was provided by Danka V., who handed it over to Mario S., and he then delivered it to Sasa V. upon arrival at the restaurant.
According to the allegations of the prosecutor’s office, after the shooting, the suspect Dejan S. helped the attackers escape by driving them first toward Sabac, then to Lake Dobrodol, and finally to Stara Pazova.
The disappearance of Aleksandar Nesovic was reported by his common-law wife, whom he had informed on the fateful evening that he was at the restaurant, after which his phone was turned off.
Upon the report, the police arrived at the scene and found a horrific sight. Traces of blood that someone tried to remove were allegedly found in the restaurant, as well as two fired 9mm caliber shell casings.
A mobile phone, suspected to have belonged to Nesovic, was found in a dumpster across from the establishment.
