President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić has called early parliamentary elections for October 25, and Students in Blockade immediately responded.
On their Instagram profile, they posted that the elections had been called after “492 days” and that “It’s time for victory.”
In the caption of the post, they briefly wrote: “We are ready for victory.”

Students of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts also spoke out afterward, recording a new video following the calling of the early parliamentary elections.
The video was posted on FDU’s official social media profiles.
From beginning to end, footage from major student protests and marches over the past nearly two years alternates throughout the video.
At the very beginning, Aleksandar Vučić’s voice can be heard saying: “Elections will be held in Serbia on October 25. I wish everyone a successful match.”
And at the end, the students declare: “45 days to victory.”
