GREEN-LEFT FRONT ENTERS THE STUDENT CAMPAIGN: ZLF officially backs the student movement ahead of the October 25 snap elections!

Green-Left Front announced today that it has officially joined the Student Movement’s campaign. We are publishing their statement in full.

Today, we are entering the decisive phase of the struggle to remove Aleksandar Vučić’s regime.

The Green-Left Front has devoted more than ten years to that struggle – since 2016, when, because of the Savamala demolitions and the collapse of the rule of law, we led citizens into the first mass protests against Vučić’s regime. We have maintained that goal to this day and continued the struggle both in the streets and at elections and within institutions, with all our heart and everything we have. Whenever it was necessary to stand up to the criminal regime and its servants, we never backed down or remained silent.

The student movement is today the bearer of the greatest hope that change is finally possible: through their courage and solidarity, they have awakened Serbia, united it at protests, and shown us that there are more of us than ever before. Therefore, for the upcoming elections on October 25, 2026, we support the Student List as the best chance to defeat the regime at the polls and pave the way toward a democratic, green, solidaristic and just Serbia.

Now is the moment for all of us to stand as one. We call on our members, supporters, and everyone who, from Ne Davimo Beograd, the Požega Initiative, the Choice for Our Municipality, Critical Mass Kula, Local Front Valjevo and the Lajkovac Initiative, all the way to the Green-Left Front, protested and fought alongside us and believed in the same values – to get involved and help.

We need you at campaign stands and in the streets, going door to door, handing out flyers and talking to neighbors, in every city and settlement, as well as at polling stations on election day. Everyone can contribute. Every conversation matters. Every pair of hands can be decisive. It is time for each of us to do our part. It is time to take action.
