In the final, he defeated the Armenian representative, Suren Aghajanyan.
Previously, the brilliant Serbian national team member skipped the qualifications due to a good ranking, only to convincingly defeat Denis Mihai from Romania 9:0 in the quarterfinals, and then the Moldovan Corneliu Rusu 7:1 in the semifinals.
Serbia has thus continued its great streak of winning medals at European Championships and fully fulfilled its competitive goal at this championship. It should be noted that for Tibilov, this is already the third medal for our country at the championships of the Old Continent. Two years ago he won bronze, last year he won silver, and he also has a bronze from the 2023 World Championship.
