The renowned Serbian actor appeared on Croatian television RTL ahead of the concert-protest he is set to hold at Tvornica Kulture, and one of the questions was related to the elections in Serbia.

The elections in Serbia are a topic across the region, and the same was true on RTL television, where Nikola Kojo explained what he expects from Sunday’s election.

“My expectation is a victory for the Student List, and a convincing one. I expect a surprise like in Hungary, and simply, living under the boot for so many years has been enough,” Nikola Kojo replied.

Asked about the results of a poll showing the Student List in the lead, the actor responded:

“Yes, that is what I expect. I expect the Student List to win. The mood is entirely on the Student List’s side. People take to the streets every evening, honk their horns, rejoice, whistle, beep, and everyone expects what I do. I have never been involved in politics. I spent more than half my life out on the streets protesting against various dictators. I am not involved in politics, but in defending freedom from an organized mafia group that has taken control of a country and its people,” Nikola Kojo explained, adding:

“I have been suffering the consequences of my views for many years. Over the past couple of years, that has become very visible. But it is not just me; it is also my colleagues who have become aware and stood up for themselves,” Nikola Kojo explained.
