By order of the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade, members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, UKP, the Service for Combating Terrorism, and the Security Intelligence Agency, arrested F. Đ. (20) due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of participating in a war or armed conflict in a foreign state, the MUP states.
During the arrest, a military ID of the Ukrainian army, a complete camouflage uniform with Ukrainian army insignia, a helmet with a built-in camera, and accompanying documentation on F. Đ. entering service in the Ukrainian army were found with the suspect, it is stated.
The suspect has been detained for up to 48 hours and will, along with a criminal complaint, be brought before the competent prosecutor’s office.
