Vehid Murić, who is suspected of committing a triple murder in Podgorica, was caught tonight, the police announced.
“Police officers of the Police Administration of the Regional Security Center ‘North’, with continuous support and cooperation with the officers of the Regional Security Center ‘Central’, after conducting extensive operational activities and a precisely executed tactical action, located V.M. (25) from Rožaje in the inner city core of Rožaje, in an open area, suspected of the criminal offense of aggravated murder, and deprived him of his liberty, about which the state prosecutor in the Higher State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica was informed,” the statement said.
As pointed out, it is suspected that Murić previously, in the Podgorica neighborhood of Stari Aerodrom, deprived three persons of their lives: D.H. (27) and N.H. (34) from Rožaje, as well as K.M. (55), a citizen of the Republic of Serbia from Novi Pazar.
The suspect will be brought to the Higher State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica for further jurisdiction along with a criminal complaint.
As a reminder, Montenegrin media earlier reported that brothers from Rožaje, Denis and Nezrin Hot, were killed in Podgorica, while the third victim was Kenan Miraljemović from Novi Pazar.
As a reminder, the head of the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Rožaje, Aldin Kalač, said earlier today that the mother of Vehid Murić (25) called the police after her son confessed to the crime.
“He told his mother that he had bloodied his hands and left the house. After a certain period of time, she reported it to the police,” Kalač told CdM.
