THE NEWS ALL OF SERBIA HAS BEEN WAITING FOR: More than €675,000 raised for little Jana in just 17 days – now it is her turn to win!

Little Jana Aćimović is expected to travel to Ulm, Germany, soon, where she will begin treatment after citizens raised more than €675,000 in just 17 days through a major humanitarian campaign.

As Jana’s family announced, the Ministry of Health’s Budget Fund approved the funds and transferred €546,409.60 to the University Hospital in Ulm, thereby, according to their statement, ensuring the conditions for treatment to begin without delay.

According to the clinic’s new cost estimate, the total cost of treatment amounts to €1,074,782.51, while payment has been divided into two phases.

At the same time, citizens raised €675,385 in just 17 days in designated accounts for Jana’s treatment. The family says that the money will be used to continue her treatment and cover additional expenses that arise during her stay in Germany.

Although a large sum has been raised and the start of treatment has been secured, the humanitarian campaigns will continue. According to the family, treatment is expected to last at least six months, and at this point it is impossible to know in advance how long it will last or what the final costs will be.

For this reason, all humanitarian events that have already been scheduled through the end of September will be held.

The family also announced that, after Jana recovers and returns home, any remaining funds will be redirected to those who need help the most.

In their post, they thanked everyone who had donated money, shared the appeal or organized humanitarian events in the previous period, especially the children who sold toys, drawings and bracelets to help Jana.
