A 48-year-old man was stabbed in King Aleksandar Boulevard in Belgrade’s Zvezdara municipality at around 10:00 p.m. last night. He sustained serious injuries and was transported to the Emergency Center, the city’s Emergency Medical Service told Tanjug news agency.
Emergency medical teams also responded to a traffic accident involving a pedestrian at 10:20 p.m. on the highway near the Gazela Bridge. The pedestrian suffered minor injuries and was taken to the Emergency Center for treatment.
During the night, emergency services carried out a total of 125 interventions, 14 of which were in public places.
Most calls for assistance came from patients with chronic medical conditions, while the majority of public-place interventions involved intoxicated individuals.
