ENTIRE FAMILY PERISHED IN A COLLISION: New details of the accident near Novi Pazar, a teenager (19) was overtaking a convoy! (VIDEO)

In a horrific traffic accident that occurred last night half an hour before midnight on the Novi Pazar–Raška main road, in the suburban settlement of Piloreti, four people were killed, while two were seriously injured and are in the hospital. As we unofficially learn, there was a family in the vehicle struck by a “Golf” driven by a teenager (19). A husband, a wife, and her brother perished.

According to unofficial information, the accident occurred when a “Golf 7” with Novi Pazar license plates and an “Opel Astra” from Raška collided head-on.

“Golf” attempted to overtake a convoy of vehicles

Reportedly, the driver of the Golf, B. K. (19), moving from the direction of Novi Pazar toward Raška, attempted to overtake several vehicles.

As can be seen in the latest photos from the scene, the vehicles are completely crushed. From the force of the impact, both vehicles spun around, and glass shards were everywhere on the road.

According to initial information, the collision occurred when the “Golf” driver (19) started to overtake a convoy of vehicles and collided directly with the “Opel Astra.”

On that occasion, according to witnesses, he crossed into the opposite lane and collided head-on with the “Opel Astra” vehicle coming from the direction of Raška.

Due to the force of the impact, both vehicles were completely destroyed, and car parts were scattered all over the main road.

Police officers, Emergency Medical Services, and fire-rescue units intervened at the scene, using special equipment to extract the victims from the crushed cars.

The duty prosecutor and the head of the Traffic Police Department also came to the scene, leading the investigation and the collection of all relevant evidence to determine the circumstances of this tragedy.

The citizens of Novi Pazar and Raška are shaken by this accident, especially due to the fact that very young people were among those who perished.

S.V. (1957) was behind the wheel of the Opel, while V.M. (1981) was in the passenger seat. Passengers V.K. (1971) and V.M. (1980) were also in the vehicle. Those killed at the scene were: the Golf driver B.K. (19), the Opel driver S.V. (69), and the Opel passenger V.M. (45).

Subsequently, a fourth person succumbed to injuries at the Novi Pazar General Hospital—a woman who was among the seriously injured in the “Opel Astra” vehicle with Raška registration plates, Sandžak Danas reports.

Two more people were admitted to the General Hospital in Novi Pazar with severe physical injuries, as confirmed to RTS.
