The best tennis player ever, Novak Đoković, arrived in Rome for the upcoming Masters series tournament, and he used his free time before the start of the competition to meet with the family of the legendary Siniša Mihajlović.

Đoković visited the famous Roman restaurant “Parnaso,” owned by the family of the late Miha, and Arianna Mihajlović shared the memory of this gathering on social media.

Alongside the picture with Novak, which also features their children Dušan, Nikolas, and Viktorija, Arianna stated:

“Our legend! I love you Serbia! Idemoooo,” Arianna wrote along with the song “Autogram,” while they all posed together with three fingers raised.

Novak has always emphasized his great respect for Siniša Mihajlović, who passed away at the end of 2022, so this visit was a logical continuation of their decades-long friendship.

As for the competitive part itself, following Monday’s draw, Novak was placed in the bottom half of the bracket. It is now known that his first rival will be the winner of the duel between the Hungarian Marton Fucsovics and the young Croatian tennis player Dino Prižmić.

Prižmić reached the main draw and the match with Fucsovics through the qualifiers, where he was better than the local representative Federico Bondioli in the deciding match.

Novak will thus begin his quest for a seventh title in the “Eternal City” in the second round (where he is exempt as the top seed).
