A member of the Serbian Ministry of the Interior (MUP) was detained this evening at the Jarinje administrative crossing by officers of the Kosovo Border Police.

The information was confirmed to KoSSev by the Kosovo Police.

According to the police, the individual, who is from Kosovo, is currently being questioned, but they declined to provide further details about the case.

“He is being questioned. That does not mean he will be prosecuted,” the Kosovo Police briefly told KoSSev.

The police have not yet disclosed the reason for the detention or any other circumstances surrounding the case.
