Admir Arnautović, better known as Šmrk, the manager of the famous musical duo Jala Brat and Buba Corelli, has been arrested in a major police operation. This operational-tactical action is being carried out across several municipalities of the Sarajevo Canton and Central Bosnia Canton by members of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, in cooperation with the Intelligence-Security Agency (OSA) and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Central Bosnia Canton, under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office.
In addition to Arnautović, police arrested Anel Sejfović Pele in the same operation, while searches of residential and business premises are being conducted in the field.
As a reminder, the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina recently filed an indictment against Admir Arnautović Šmrk and Adnan Maglić, known as Magla. According to the indictment, they are accused of being members of and organizing a criminal group between 2019 and 2022 that was involved in the international smuggling of cocaine and hashish in Bosnia and Herzegovina and European Union countries, as well as the unauthorized trafficking of weapons. The group is also accused of planning to inflict serious bodily injuries on popular singer Senidah.
The investigation established that money obtained through criminal activities was invested in the purchase of luxury real estate and cars, which were registered in the names of the suspects and people close to them. Arnautović was already known to judicial authorities and had previously been convicted of drug trafficking, while in this case he had previously spent nine months in custody.
