Tanks took to the streets as part of the preparations for the “Power of Unity” event on September 20, and the streets are already destroyed.
Novi Beograd was blocked yesterday due to Serbian Army drills in anticipation of the “Power of Unity 2025” event – military vehicles paraded through the streets, including tanks which caused serious damage to the streets in their very first pass, so much so that they are already in need of total reconstruction.

The dust didn’t settle until the end of the day, and if you passed through that part of the city yesterday after the streets reopened, you could notice that in some parts they have become “wavy,” distorted, and dug up.
In some places, the asphalt has cracked so much that pieces are flying off, and in others, the tank tracks have “only” left deep grooves.
Videos have flooded social media; it’s obvious that someone is already planning new construction work… And the Army is “in position” again this morning to circle around Novi Beograd.
Because, let’s remember, yesterday was only the first day of preparations for the parade which is being held on September 20. Until then, we can’t even imagine what will be left of the streets.
