The SNS Main Board unanimously decided today that the party’s electoral list will be named “Aleksandar Vučić – United Serbia” and that its candidate for prime minister will be Aleksandar Vučić.

Vučić said that this was a great honor for him, but that we would see what the people had to say. He recalled that SNS was founded 18 years ago and that it had managed to change Serbia for the better.

According to him, there is “chaff” everywhere, including within their ranks, but there is no party that better protects national interests.

Regarding the expected verdict of the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague against Hashim Thaçi, he said that the International Criminal Tribunal and other such courts are all courts of injustice, and said he was considering joining U.S. President Donald Trump in bringing down all those institutions of injustice and lawlessness so that the freedom-loving peoples of the world could dismantle them.

He said he was proud that he had not extradited anyone to the Hague Tribunal.

Vučić recalled the collapse of the canopy in Novi Sad, as well as the Dubona and Orašje tragedies, saying that, as he put it, “vultures” and foreign powers had tried to exploit them.

Regarding the protests by students and citizens, which are being held at the same time as the Main Board session, he said that 500 or 600 people had gathered and collected eggs. He said they should pray to God that the police would not let them go anywhere and that these were people who had “most terribly disgraced Niš.”

He called on SNS members not to beat them or “roll them in tar,” referring to everything that had been threatened against them.

“They are our misguided sisters and brothers,” he said.

He said that Serbia would preserve its neutrality.

He reiterated that SNS was ready to accept the election results. He said that some people believed SNS would fall apart the day after a defeat.

“Five or ten percent who are here because of their positions will leave. I can see Bane Ćelić and Jadranka Joksimović in the distance, who do not hold any positions or have no positions at all, but they will not leave anywhere, because this is a big family,” he stressed.

Miloš Vučević, leader of SNS, said that Vučić was one of them, a man with virtues and flaws, who has emotions, and that he had shown that he knows what the state is and what the interests of the state and the people are, as well as what the key word “responsibility” means.

According to him, by creating that list, they should show what a united Serbia means.

He said that the biggest frauds were those who present themselves as patriots within the blockade movement.

SNS Vice President Ana Brnabić said that this was the most important session.

She recalled March 21, when, as she said, an attempt was made to set fire to their offices in Niš, which then spread to Valjevo, Vrnjačka Banja and Užice.

She said that SNS members were fighting against this and that they had to preserve Serbia, because such a scourge had not been seen since World War II.

She said that the students did not come up with the blockades, but that someone from outside had, and that SNS was not fighting against students, which would be seen on election day.

According to her, the task of SNS’s opponents was to bring down Aleksandar Vučić.

“Resistance every day, everywhere. Vučić for Prime Minister of Serbia. Long live Serbia!” she exclaimed.

At the beginning of the session, Vučević said that the name of the electoral list and who would be prime minister if they won the upcoming elections would be determined at the session.

He announced that there would be another session of the SNS Main Board and Presidency within the next ten days or so.
