A serious traffic accident occurred today in Šimanovci, and in the horrific crash, one person lost their life, while another person with serious bodily injuries was urgently transported to Belgrade.

According to the Instagram page 192_rs, the accident occurred under circumstances that are currently unclear, and the scene at the site of the crash is disturbing.

One vehicle was completely crushed and destroyed beyond recognition by the force of the impact, while the other car overturned onto its roof from the force of the collision. Pieces of plastic, glass, and metal were scattered dozens of meters across the roadway, testifying to how violent the crash was.

Emergency medical personnel could only pronounce one person dead, while the other participant in the accident, who suffered serious injuries, was urgently transported to a hospital in Belgrade, where doctors are fighting for their life.

Police patrols immediately arrived at the scene and secured the site of the tragedy. Traffic on this section has been suspended and diverted, while the investigation is underway.

Following the investigation and detailed forensic examination, all the details and the exact cause of this horrific accident will be known.
