Anja Mioč, a competitor representing the Spartak Bodybuilding and Fitness Club, has won the world champion title in the wellness fitness over 168 cm category at the World Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships, held in Santa Susanna, Spain.
After finishing as runner-up last year, Anja took another major step forward this year, winning the most prestigious medal on the world stage. The gold medal represents an outstanding achievement for our competitor, her club and the city of Subotica.
What makes this result particularly significant is that the medal was won at the championship of the only official IFBB federation in bodybuilding and fitness recognized by the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Serbia.
Her coach and club president, Igor Šikora, who won the world bodybuilding champion title last year, made no secret of his satisfaction with this year’s results.
–We have had an exceptionally successful year. In addition to winning the national team championship title, we have also brought home gold from the World Championships to Subotica. We are proud of Anja’s achievement and everything we have accomplished together. This is the result of hard work, discipline and dedication – Šikora emphasized, stressing that the club would continue working to promote bodybuilding and fitness in the city. – We will strive to make our sport even more popular and bring even more top medals from major competitions to Subotica.
Anja’s success once again confirms that dedication, perseverance and quality professional guidance can lead to outstanding sporting achievements, even on the biggest world stage.
