The second match of the final of the Handball League of Serbia between Partizan and Vojvodina will be played again, so the black-and-whites will, at least for now, be left without the title.
Vladimir Knezic, director of the ARKUS League, made the decision that the second match of the final series between Partizan and Vojvodina be played again.
The chaos in the final series of the handball championship of our country continued, and the duel between the red-and-whites and black-and-whites has now received a new twist.
After the scandal on Wednesday evening, when the second duel of the final was interrupted because of Partizan’s fans, and which was not continued because Vojvodina refused to return to the court, a decision was made for the final series to continue.
As Mozzart Sport reports, the second duel will be played on Monday, without the presence of an audience. The same was interrupted in the 15th minute, and it should be noted that in the first match Partizan celebrated with 33:27.
It remains to be seen whether the team from Novi Sad will appear on the court on Monday and in which lineup. The club announced that right wing Fran Mileta had consequences after the match in the form of ringing in the ears, elevated blood pressure, problems in coordination, but that he was not seriously injured and that he will be fine in a few days.
