The Freedom and Justice Party will run in the upcoming elections on a list that will be the only one saying “no” to Vučić and “yes” to Europe, the party’s president, Dragan Đilas, told N1.
Appearing on N1 television, Dragan Đilas assessed that “it is absolutely clear that at this moment Aleksandar Vučić and the Serbian Progressive Party do not have the support of the majority of citizens in Serbia.”
Regarding an agreement among opposition actors to run together in the elections, Đilas said they had repeatedly stated that they were ready to talk with the students, but that the students had said they did not want to, and that his party would therefore run together with pro-European parties.
“At this moment, in the elections you will have one list that is Vučić’s list, which is ‘yes’ to Vučić and ‘no’ to Europe. You will have the students’ list – they are ‘no’ to Vučić and ‘no’ to Europe. You will have Nestorović, Miloš Jovanović, the same thing; they are supposedly ‘no’ to Vučić, but they are all ‘no’ to Europe. You will have one list that is ‘no’ to Vučić and ‘yes’ to Europe. That will be the list that includes the Freedom and Justice Party,” Dragan Đilas said.
