Serbia still occupies the very top of the list in terms of fuel expensiveness compared to neighboring countries.

Moreover, diesel is on average more expensive in our country compared to all countries in the region, including Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria, while gasoline is more expensive than the one at domestic pumps only in Romania and Hungary.

A liter of Eurodiesel at domestic pumps otherwise costs 219 dinars, while the price of gasoline Europremium BMB 95 is set at 195 dinars and these prices are valid until Friday, July 10, when the Ministry of Trade will make a new regular adjustment.

We pay 65 dinars more for diesel than in S. Macedonia

The difference in the price of diesel is most prominent when comparing data from Serbia with those from North Macedonia.

Even though a diesel price increase of about 5 dinars occurred in this neighboring country yesterday, a liter of this fuel there still costs significantly less than in Serbia, with a price of about 153 dinars.

A similar situation is also in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Bulgaria, where diesel prices range from 172 to 179 dinars per liter. This means that drivers in those countries pay up to 40 dinars less for each poured liter compared to drivers in Serbia, which represents a serious difference in monthly transport costs.

Serbia leader in the region by the price of gasoline

When it comes to gasoline, Serbia with a price of 195 dinars also leads, although the difference compared to some neighbors is slightly smaller than with diesel.

In North Macedonia, gasoline has been more expensive by two dinars since yesterday, but its price at the pumps is still around 161 dinars. In Bosnia and Herzegovina and Bulgaria, gasoline is also more affordable and costs between 171 and 175 dinars.

Hungary and Romania are closest to Serbia in terms of gasoline prices, with amounts ranging around 196 and 197 dinars.

We belong among the more expensive for LPG as well

The situation on the liquefied petroleum gas market follows a similar trend, so Serbia with a price of nearly 107 dinars belongs to the ranks of more expensive countries in the region.

The lowest prices of this energy source are recorded in Bulgaria and Croatia, where a liter costs around 75 and 76 dinars.

In Montenegro, LPG is not offered at pumps at all, and Hungary is the most expensive when it comes to this energy source with 118 dinars per liter.
