The greatest tennis player of all time, Novak Đoković, will once again play for Serbia’s Davis Cup team, the Tennis Federation of Serbia has confirmed. Đoković will be part of Serbia’s squad for the matches against Lithuania, scheduled for September 19 and 20 at the Čair Hall in Niš, and tickets are already on sale.

“Serbia’s Davis Cup team returns to the scene of last year’s success following the triumph over Turkey, and will play with its strongest current lineup! Captain Viktor Troicki is choosing from the best: Novak Đoković, the greatest player of all time, Miomir Kecmanović, the team’s most consistent member, Hamad Međedović, a player threatening to break into the world elite, as well as experienced Dušan Lajović and Laslo Đere, along with young players who are just coming through, Branko Đurić and Ognjen Milić. Alongside doubles specialists, new Top 100 member Stefan Latinović and the Sabanov brothers, Serbia has a fantastic team,” the Serbian Tennis Federation said in a statement.

This will be the first time since September 2024 that Novak Đoković has played for [Serbia], when he took part in the victories over Greece. He won his singles match and then also played doubles with Hamad Međedović.

How to get tickets?

“Tickets are on sale and can be purchased through the Tickets.rs website and at all Tickets.rs sales points. A daily individual ticket for the stands costs 500 dinars. Tickets will not be sold at the Čair box office on the days of the matches themselves, September 19 and 20 in Niš.”

“There are nine sales points in Niš, located at Delfi bookstores in Delta Planet and on Obrenovićeva Street, as well as at three Hijeroglif bookstores, at numbers 1, 5 and 8 on Vožda Karađorđa, Trg kralja Milana and Trg Pavla Stojkovića, at the Indigo bookstore on Obrenovićeva Street, Meridian Niš01 in TC Kalča, as well as at OMV Niš 1 and 2 gas stations on Dimitrija Tucovića and Bulevar 12. februara,” the Serbian Tennis Federation statement adds.

On Saturday, September 19, two singles matches are scheduled. On Sunday, September 20, three matches will be played. The doubles teams will be the first to take the court, followed by the top singles players from both teams, with the second singles players of each team closing out the tie.
