Nenad Rašković from the village of Dren near Zubin Potok, who was beaten by the so-called Kosovo Police, due to the severity of his injuries and difficult general health condition, is on his way from KBC Kosovska Mitrovica to the Emergency Center of the Clinical Center of Serbia in Belgrade, where he will be hospitalized, Kosovo Online learns.
He is expected to arrive at the Clinical Center of Serbia in the afternoon hours.
Rašković said yesterday that three officers pulled him out of his family home, after which they tied him to a tree and beat him, demanding that he give them a rifle which, as he said, he does not have, and the Police Inspectorate of Kosovo has initiated an investigation into these allegations.
Director of KBC Kosovska Mitrovica Dr. Zlatan Elek stated that Rašković suffered multiple injuries, including a broken rib.
EULEX told Kosovo Online that the allegations about this incident are extremely concerning and that, together with the competent authorities, they will monitor the case.
The Kosovo Police Inspectorate (KPI) announced today that it has launched an investigation.
