“There is a well-founded suspicion that during this operation by the Serbian police, paramilitary, and military forces, 65 civilians were killed and 12 civilians disappeared,” the Special Prosecution of Kosovo states.

Since the accused are unavailable to the judicial authorities in Kosovo, the Special Prosecution proposed to the Basic Court in Priština that the trial be held in absentia.
