An interesting evening is behind us in the NBA league where two first-round playoff series could have come to an end, but both teams that were in a subordinate position achieved triumphs and continued to dream of advancing.

Serbian coach Darko Rajaković is one step away from elimination from the NBA playoffs, as his Toronto was defeated by Cleveland 125:120, and the Cavaliers now lead the series – 3:2. The key was the fourth quarter, in which the Raptors scored only 17 points.

A very small number of points, but also a shock for the Lakers, was seen in Los Angeles, where Houston celebrated and showed that they will try to seize the opportunity of Luka Dončić not playing. The Lakers led 3:0 in the series and were omnipotent with LeBron James, but now they are in big trouble.

This was not an exceptional game to watch; however, that certainly won’t matter to the Rockets, who celebrated with a 99:93 victory and took the series back to Houston, where they will try to force a decider.

Detroit finished the regular season as the top-ranked team in the Eastern Conference, but showed exceptionally poor performances against Orlando and was on the brink of elimination. However, they grabbed a lifeline last night and won 116:109, leaving themselves hope for advancing further. The Pistons led almost from the first minute, so the victory was never in question.
