We would like to thank the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran for their commitment to finding a diplomatic solution to the conflict. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to our brothers in these mediation efforts, the great leadership of the State of Qatar, for their support in achieving this agreement.
I would especially like to thank the visionary leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Turkey for their tremendous contribution in this regard. Now that the agreement has entered into force, the mediators will hold a series of meetings this week. These pre-implementation discussions will lay the groundwork for technical talks and the official signing ceremony,” Sharif specified on his account on the social media platform X.
Iranian news agency Mehr News Agency, it should be recalled, published the provisions of the draft peace agreement between Tehran and Washington on Thursday. The document consists of 14 points, one of which is an immediate and comprehensive cessation of hostilities.
