The head of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC), Patriarch Porfirije, insulted a part of the believers during the send-off of the honorable belt of the Most Holy Mother of God at the “Nikola Tesla” airport on a flight to the Vatopedi monastery on Mount Athos.
Porfirije did not know that the cameras were turned on and recording, so at one point he said that from time to time some moron would appear, Ozonpress reports.

At that moment, he noticed the camera and interrupted his address and then gave a blessing.
This was met with sharp criticism from the public.
Present at the scene were Police Director Dragan Vasiljević, Minister of Internal Affairs Ivica Dačić, as well as numerous clergy members and citizens.
