The Republican candidate for President of the United States discussed various topics with host Joe Rogan, who once couldn’t stand him but is now a supporter. Joe Rogan, host of one of the most popular podcasts in the world, welcomed Donald Trump.
The potential winner of the upcoming American elections, scheduled for November 5, talked about everything from Ukraine and Russia to aliens, and revealed what mistake he certainly won’t make if he becomes president again.
“The only mistake I made when I was president the first time was surrounding myself with bad, disloyal people. That won’t happen again if I win. As for the elections, whether I win or lose, I won’t run again,” Trump told Rogan.
The conversation covered various topics that Trump has presented in his campaigns, along with new controversial comments. The former president stated that the war in Ukraine “would never have started” if he had been president, criticized the media for allegedly favoring Vice President Kamala Harris during the campaign, and repeatedly emphasized that Democrats are “more dangerous than foreign enemies.”
He also reflected on his claim of “stolen” elections in 2020, stating that the changes to election laws made due to the pandemic were illegitimate without legislative approval.
Trump’s claims about the 2020 elections garnered significant attention during the interview, and Rogan asked him for specific examples of how he believes the elections were “stolen.” Trump’s response remained vague and was based on the assertion that changes were implemented without necessary legislative approval, referring to the eased voting conditions during the pandemic, which he called “illegal.”
Rogan also asked Trump questions about aliens. Trump commented that “there’s no reason Mars and other planets shouldn’t have forms of life.” Rogan immediately corrected him, stating that there are no signs of life on Mars, to which Trump responded that “it’s possible there is life that we do not recognize.”
Rogan also directed the conversation toward historical figures, particularly Robert E. Lee, the Confederate general during the American Civil War. Trump, as he has before, called Lee a “genius,” to which Rogan defended that it refers to the “strategic value of the general,” with Trump agreeing.
