Traffic on all roads in the Republika Srpska and FBiH is running smoothly this morning after the carriers’ protest was stopped, the Auto-moto Association of Srpska announced.
They remind that the carriers’ protest was stopped yesterday afternoon, so there are no more trucks on the roads that are standing and slowing down traffic.
On the roads in the western and northwestern regions, vehicles are driving on wet or damp roads, and in some places along the rivers there is occasional morning fog, so drivers are advised to be careful.
At the border crossings, delays are not longer than half an hour this morning, and the Krstac border crossing on the Gacko-Nikšić road is also in operation, while the Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to three and a half tons.
At the Karakaj border crossing near Zvornik, traffic is prohibited for vehicles over five tons of the maximum allowed weight, so those freight vehicles are redirected to the new Bratoljub bridge in Bratunac and to the Rača border crossing.
Trucks and freight motor vehicles can travel through the Šepak border crossing from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., and on weekends they can only cross at night.
