With the message “Let’s not allow politics to interfere in our kindergartens,” a rally was held this morning in front of the “Draguljče” kindergarten in Zvezdara in support of the suddenly dismissed director of this institution.
Parent Nikola Radojković tells N1 that the director Milena Pavlović was dismissed on Friday, suddenly and without any explanation.
He also states that his children have been attending this kindergarten for three years and that they have so far been satisfied with the director and her engagement and the actions she has been implementing for the past eight years.
“We had a positive experience and I don’t remember anyone having an objection to her work and her relationship with parents and children,” he points out.
He believes that it is a political dismissal because no one is informed and notified about the real reason for the dismissal.
The educators of this kindergarten regularly took to the streets and paid tribute to the victims in the fall of the canopy, but it is not known whether that is the reason for the dismissal.
Parent Sandra Milosavljević says that the parents gathered this morning to give support to the director.
“Someone who has been here for eight years, who has brought this institution to its feet, thanks to good cooperation with parents, we are presented with a fait accompli that we do not know what it is about. Someone new is coming to us, and someone has done their job excellently. We still do not have an official answer, I believe not even Milena, what is the matter and this is primarily a sign of support for her and to show the support and respect of the parents for everything she has done for this institution and for the children,” she points out.
Đurićeva street in front of the kindergarten is blocked due to the rally of support.
As the interlocutors pointed out, the director was assigned to the position of an educator in another kindergarten institution.
