Russian President Vladimir Putin did not conspire with Chinese President Xi Jinping and North Korean President Kim Jong Un against the US, the Kremlin announced.
US President Donald Trump said yesterday that he was “very disappointed” with Putin and in a post on his social network suggested that Xi, Putin and Kim were conspiring against the US.
When asked by Russian state television about Trump’s comments, Russian presidential foreign policy adviser Yuri Ushakov said that Trump might have been ironic.
“I would like to say that no one conspired, no one was plotting anything. None of these three leaders had such a thought,” he said.
“I can say that everyone understands the role that the US, the current administration of President Trump and President Trump personally play in the current international situation,” he added, as reported by Reuters.
