There has been quite a stir surrounding the reception of the Serbian women’s volleyball national team by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, and it is now known what preceded the entire situation.
Igor Jagličić spoke about it in greater detail:
“We saw what the girls looked like at that reception. I still don’t know exactly what preceded it, namely whether they were told: ‘You have to go to that reception.’ I want to mention one more thing that may not be known. About three or four weeks ago, we received a request to film commercials for EXPO, probably across all sports organizations and national teams. I have to say that none of the girls wanted to film a commercial for EXPO,” Jagličić revealed.

He then added:
“Knowing that, they still insisted on going to the reception with the president of the country after winning the bronze medal. I know one more thing. The girls celebrated the medal they won in Istanbul late into the night the evening before, and it seems to me they were told that they had to be at the president’s office at around nine o’clock. They reluctantly accepted all of this, but they still all came. Coach Terzić came as well,” Jagličić said in an interview with “SportSKi dan.”
