In Tuzla, the Church of the Holy Great Martyr George, located in the Serbian Orthodox cemetery and which is also a national monument in BiH, has been desecrated once again.
The doors of the church were broken down and objects inside the church were scattered, writes the Banja Luka-based Glas Srpske.
Such attacks repeatedly offend the religious feelings, not only of the clergy, but also of Orthodox believers in Tuzla.
Unfortunately, this is not an isolated case in this city.
In the Cathedral Church of the Dormition of the Most Holy Mother of God, last year, the relics of the saint Blessed Matrona of Moscow were desecrated.
Đorđe Radanović from the Committee for the Protection of the Rights of Serbs in the Federation of BiH said that churches throughout Tuzla have been looted and graves destroyed since 1992.
“And now again in Tuzla, which they declared a multicultural city,” Radanović said.
