In the Rulebook on the forms of passports, diplomatic passports, and official passports: the words “bordeaux color” are replaced with the words: “burgundy red color” and the words: “red, yellow, and blue tones” are replaced with the words: “brown-red, blue-gray, ochre, and gray-olive tones.”
In Article 3, Paragraph 1, the words: “scivertex-secura material” are replaced with the words: “skivertex security material with UV protection.”
-The pages of the book block are made of protected paper with a multi-tone watermark, electrotype, and a placed security thread that is inserted into the paper and contains a stylized cross with four fire-steels in red, as well as mini and microtext Republic of Serbia written in three colors (black, blue, and red), in Cyrillic and Latin scripts. The security thread contains UV and IR protection. Under UV light, it fluoresces blue and red. The motif of the watermark is the White Angel.
In Article 4, the words: “and on the pages of the book block written in blue color,” are replaced with the words: “written in brown, and on the pages of the book block in ochre and blue-gray color.”

In Article 7, the word: “front” is replaced by the word: “back.”
Each page of the passport contains a special motif processed with special security software.

Protective elements, produced by offset printing, line intaglio printing, or relief printing, are: iris printing, guilloche elements, line thickness modulation, invisible details that fluoresce under UV light, latent images visible under different angles, minitext, microtext, IR elements, see-through register, laserable layer for data entry, digital signature and for machine-readable data, security multicolor foil with various optical elements and a display of the Serbian tricolor, the Small Coat of Arms of the Republic of Serbia, a dry seal over the photograph, as well as the text Republic of Serbia in iridescent display, kinegram, nanotext, relief elements, and a security element in laser perforation.
The forms printed alongside the Rulebook on the forms of passports, diplomatic passports, and official passports (“Official Gazette of the RS”, no. 7/08, 37/08, and 9/16) are replaced by new forms printed alongside this rulebook and constitute an integral part of it.
Passports, diplomatic passports, and official passports issued on forms in accordance with the Rulebook on the forms of passports, diplomatic passports, and official passports (“Official Gazette of the RS”, no. 7/08, 37/08, and 9/16) are valid until the expiration date stated therein.
This rulebook enters into force on the eighth day from the date of publication in the “Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia,” as stated in the Official Gazette.
