Foreign Minister Marko Đurić said yesterday during his visit to Washington, where he participated in the Ministerial Conference, that the student movement is an extremist organization.
“We have spoken here, and we will continue to speak, about the political violence being carried out against Serbs in the region simply because they are Serbs, because they are Christians, targeting their schools, their churches, and their institutions,” Đurić said, adding that it is politically motivated, systematic, and methodical violence.

Đurić also said that while in Washington he would discuss what he described as political violence that took place in Serbia over the past year, while emphasizing that political opponents should be spoken about with respect.
“The activities of extremist organizations such as Antifa and Bloody Hands, organizations that attack the Serbian National Assembly, public institutions, and courts, and that incite violence and unrest in the streets, constitute political violence, which, according to the assessment and qualification of judicial authorities, sometimes crosses the line into terrorism,” Đurić added.
