At the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO 2026), held from July 4 to 12 in Bucaramanga, Colombia, students from Serbia won five medals.
The runners-up are Mathematical Grammar School students Andrej Drobnjaković, Luka Smiljanić, and Nikola Kočović, while the bronze medals were won by their colleague Stefan Sekulić Derdovski and Veljko Adžić, from the Computing Grammar School.
The Serbian team was led by Dr. Vladimir Marković and Dr. Imre Gut.
By winning three silver and two bronze medals, our young physicists achieved outstanding success at one of the world’s most prestigious competitions for high school students.
