Russian President Vladimir Putin’s United Russia party has won the parliamentary elections in Russia, according to exit poll results at polling stations after they closed.

According to data from a poll conducted by the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VCIOM), the United Russia party won 49.4 percent of the vote, the center reported on social media.

The parliamentary elections in Russia lasted three days.
