“ProGlas” CALLS ON THE DIASPORA TO VOTE: The “Without You, There Is No Us” Initiative Arrives in Switzerland!

After successfully holding panel discussions, musical and stage events, and open conversations with members of the Serbian community in Germany—in Frankfurt, Munich, and Stuttgart—the ProGlas initiative is continuing its tour of the diaspora and is now heading to Switzerland.

Organized by ProGlas and the Assembly in the Diaspora, with the support of the association “Geneva and Lausanne for the Protests in Serbia,” members of the Serbian community in Switzerland will have the opportunity to attend events and discussions in two cities:

Zurich: September 19
Geneva: September 20

“Tomorrow We Vote, Today We Support Change”

The initiative says that many events in the past have been described as historic turning points, but that the upcoming elections in Serbia, whenever they are called by the authorities, are truly decisive and that after them “Serbia will not be what it is today.”

“It depends on all of us—its citizens, wherever we live, whatever profession we have, whatever we believe in, and whichever generation we belong to—what kind of country Serbia will be. That is why the participation of all of us is important. Every person and every vote matters,” the ProGlas statement says.

With that goal in mind, ProGlas, the Assembly in the Diaspora, and local diaspora organizations have launched the campaign titled “Without You, There Is No Us,” calling on all Serbian citizens living abroad to become actively involved in the social and political processes in their homeland, because Serbia is “the country of all of us.”
