Turkish citizen R. A. (54) passed away during a flight on the Istanbul–Düsseldorf line, after which the aircraft made an emergency landing at the Belgrade airport.

A Pegasus Airlines plane operating on the Istanbul–Düsseldorf route made a forced landing this morning at “Nikola Tesla” Airport in Belgrade due to a medical emergency on board.

During the flight, Turkish citizen R. A. went to the toilet. A flight attendant noticed he had been gone for a long time, opened the door, and found him unconscious.

Unfortunately, doctors could only pronounce him dead.

By order of the prosecution, the body was sent for an autopsy.
