The Kreni-promeni movement announced on the social network Instagram that last night, SNS supporters in Batutova Street in Zvezdara attacked minor boys and girls, while police officers stood calmly, not reacting to the violence.
“Tonight, SNS supporters in Batutova Street in Zvezdara attacked minor boys and a girl. Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs did not react, even though the case was reported to them. Citizens gathered in front of the Zvezdara Ministry of Internal Affairs, where they are protesting against the actions of the police,” was published on the Instagram profile of the Kreni-promeni movement.
Zbor Zvezdara also published a video of the beating of minors in this part of the city by supporters of the Serbian Progressive Party.
As seen in the video, the incident occurred because of the “Students win” banner, which party supporters wanted to remove.
They, by the way, carry their own banner “Serbia wins”, while the teenagers try to stop them, lining up trash containers as obstacles.
Otherwise, preparations are underway by students in the blockade and citizens supporting them for a protest at Slavija on May 23.
Because of this, they are putting up stickers with the student logo “Students win” and hanging similar banners.
SNS supporters have also gotten involved by countering the students, and often organize stands across from the students’ stands, remove their banners, and hang their own that read “Serbia wins”.
