The village of Jastrebac near Vladičin Han was shaken by a horrific family tragedy.
On Wednesday evening, after a brief argument, a physical confrontation occurred between two relatives, specifically paternal cousins, which ended with a fatal outcome.
According to official data from the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office (VJT) in Vranje, the incident occurred on May 13 at around 7:05 PM. The conflict began with a verbal argument in the yard of the family home and soon escalated into violence.
It is suspected that the suspect S. S., using a suitable object—most likely a wooden pole—inflicted multiple blows to the head and arm area of the victim, Svetomir Stojiljković. Due to the severity of the injuries sustained, Stojiljković died at the scene.
