Donnie N. B. (38) from Dallas was reportedly arrested on July 21 for the murder of Serbian woman Vera P. (41) in the USA. The woman’s body was found on Tuesday in a car, and police reportedly handcuffed her partner on the same day, who is suspected of inflicting severe injuries on her from which she passed away.
The manner in which he inflicted the injuries, as well as the exact time of death, are still the subject of an investigation.
On the social media profiles of the arrested man, it is stated that he is engaged in bodybuilding and lives in Dallas. The last time he posted on social media was just one day before the crime, when he published photos from a workout.
According to Kurir, Vera P. (41), originally from Užice, had been living in the USA with her children for years. She was divorced and a while ago started a relationship with Donnie N. B.
“The last time her friends saw her was when she was at a party with Donnie. However, he had a bit too much to drink there and allegedly an argument broke out between them, due to his jealousy. She didn’t want to argue in front of friends and they left the party together, but nobody saw Vera again,” a relative of the murdered woman told Kurir, stating that the family still doesn’t know all the details of the crime, but they know that Vera’s partner was arrested and is in custody on suspicion of killing her.
As stated, the worried family and friends, who Vera had not contacted since Saturday, reported her disappearance to the police.
“Donnie N. B., who was arrested on Tuesday, told the police that he didn’t know where Vera was and that he hadn’t seen or heard from her since Saturday. However, the investigation determined that her mobile phone was last used in his house, and on Tuesday her body was found in an abandoned car. We still don’t know if he killed her as soon as they left the party and left her body, or if he perhaps committed the crime in his house and then tried to cover up the tracks,” the Kurir source added.
According to him, the family wants the suspect to be held accountable for the crime he committed, but they are aware that this will not change anything in their lives.
“Vera was a mother of two children, cheerful, a woman full of life. According to the information we have for now, she died as a result of severe injuries inflicted on her. We still don’t know the details, nor what exactly happened to Vera. We don’t even know if he killed her in the car, or in the house and then moved the body to cover up the tracks of the crime. We know that she is gone and that nothing can bring her back,” he adds.
