Young Serbian shooter Uroš Gajić has won a silver medal in the junior men’s air pistol event at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Skopje.
The talented athlete from Niš was among the leaders for most of the match but conceded first place to Moldova’s Ursu in the final series of ten shots.

Despite this, he managed to hold on to the silver position in the end. Although Italy’s Cuatra recorded the same number of points, Gajić secured second place thanks to a higher number of hits in the “inner center.”
In the women’s competition, Serbian representative Kristina Pejović finished in sixth place with a score of 372 points. A medal eluded her by just one point, as Spain’s Gloria Sánchez won bronze with a score of 373 points.
