J. from Višići near Čapljina has also intrigued the public, while police continue to conduct an operational search because, according to unofficial information, after leaving Bosnia and Herzegovina*** he traveled to Turkey — while Bangkok was his final destination.***

At the same time, the question remains open in Čapljina as to what happened to dozens of pensions that did not reach their recipients, as well as the money intended for their payment.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton confirmed that the disappearance was reported to the Čapljina Police Administration on Monday at 10:30 a.m.

According to his mother’s report, S. J. went to Mostar with friends on Saturday evening, September 5. She last contacted him on Sunday, September 6, at around 8:50 p.m. via WhatsApp. After that, he disappeared without a trace and did not answer any phone calls.

Mostar, Sarajevo, then Turkey

According to unofficial information, the postman left Bosnia and Herzegovina after staying at a hotel in Mostar. From Mostar, he went to Sarajevo, from where he flew to Turkey.

According to the airline ticket he purchased, his journey was supposed to continue to Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. So far, there is no confirmation that he arrived there.

However, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton has information about how he left Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Where is the money?

The case has taken on additional weight due to information that a large number of pensions were not delivered to their recipients.

According to earlier unofficial information, between 50 and 60 pensions are involved. The exact number of recipients who did not receive their money, as well as the total amount, is still unknown.

The post office should clarify this information. It was contacted with an inquiry, but no response had arrived by the time this article was published.
