President of the Executive Board of the Serbian Progressive Party and Minister of Public Investments in a technical capacity, Darko Glišić, called the Student List a “group of woman-haters” and a group of “fraudsters” at a pre-election rally on Sunday in Baljevac, in the municipality of Raška.
At the rally in the settlement, he said that the upcoming elections represent a turning point between the country’s development and a return to the past.
“We have another 35 days until the day when we have to decide whether we will follow the path of economic prosperity, peace, stability, higher salaries, higher pensions, roads, hospitals, schools, or whether we will take the path that entails lower salaries and pensions, as these ‘manulaći’ who call themselves the Student List are announcing to you,” Glišić said.
He made a series of accusations and insults against the Student List, claiming that there are no workers or students among its candidates.
“They don’t have a single student, a single worker, a single farmer, there’s nothing on it, except woman-haters,” Glišić said, calling representatives of the list “recycled Yellow Thieves.”

Speaking about the activities and actions of candidates and supporters of the Student List, the minister used derogatory language to refer to their activities in public.
In the continuation of his speech, he accused representatives of the Student List of violating the law, blocking streets and putting pressure on citizens.
“Let me ask these ‘manulaći,’ these wretches, whether it is in accordance with the Constitution to block streets, attack people, go to their homes, and abuse them? You want to purge people, throw them around, ride them? You are nothing but ‘manulaći,’ liars and fraudsters,” Glišić said.
The president of the SNS Executive Board said that Serbia must win in order to protect its people and state “from outside influence.”
