The clinic in Kosovska Kamenica started receiving patients again today, who had been without regular therapy and other healthcare services for two days, local sources confirmed to RTS. They stated that the reopening followed the intervention of international missions in KiM.
The clinic in Kamenica, which functions within the system of the Serbian government, was closed by local self-government inspectors, ordering a temporary suspension of the provision of healthcare services.
An official notice was pasted on the entrance door of the clinic – “Municipality of Kamenica – Temporary suspension of activity”.
The reason for closing the clinic was allegedly due to “property issues with the facility”.
The employees of the clinic informed international representatives.
The remaining Serbs in Kamenica went to Ranilug, 15 kilometers away, for healthcare services over the past two days.
The Pristina authorities had previously closed Serbian clinics in Suvo Grlo near Srbica and the technical center in Obilic, only for these institutions to be reopened after the reaction of the international community.
