As reported by Israeli journalist Arale Weisberg – the story between Željko Obradović and Panathinaikos has ended in the best possible way for the “Greens”.
According to his claims, the most trophy-winning European expert has signed a contract and is returning to the bench of the Athens giant.
As a reminder, as previously reported by “Mozzart Sport”, the management of the “Greens”, led by Dimitris Giannakopoulos, was ready to offer a three-year contract with a total value of around five million euros in order to convince the experienced strategist to return to the club with which he achieved the greatest successes of his career.

For days, there have been speculations that Obradović’s return to Panathinaikos is a done deal.
Information has also arrived from circles close to the Serbian coach that he is ready to consider a return to the bench, but exclusively under clearly defined conditions.
Additional uncertainty was brought into the whole story by the possibility that Obradović could also return to Partizan. However, according to the latest information – ŽOC’s next destination is Athens.
