Filip Kilibarda, a student at the Mathematical Grammar School in Belgrade, won a silver medal at the 3rd International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI 2026), held in Astana, Kazakhstan, from August 2 to 8.

Serbia’s national team achieved an outstanding result in a competition featuring more than 450 students from over 100 countries, bringing home two silver medals and one honorable mention.

Alongside Kilibarda, Serbia was successfully represented by Dimitrije Atanasković from Svetozar Marković Grammar School in Niš, who also earned a silver medal; Luka Jovanović from Vuk Karadžić Grammar School in Trstenik, who received an honorable mention; and Lazar Nikić from the Šabac Grammar School.
