The Citizens’ Assembly of the Municipality of Vrbas organized a public forum featuring Vladan Đokić, the Rector of the University of Belgrade, as its guest.
The discussion focused on elections, the student movement, and the rector also announced a new student initiative titled “Serbia or the Mafia?”, which is set to begin next week.
According to N1, the campaign will consist of a series of civic and student events dedicated to issues of public safety, the rule of law, and institutional accountability.
Rector Đokić said that all proposed candidates on the student-backed electoral list would work closely with experts. He also stated that, despite ongoing attacks, the authorities have failed to undermine public trust in higher education in Serbia.
