Masked hooligans who present themselves as fans of the Radnički 1923 football club stormed the pitch after that team’s match against Javor, which ended with a score of 2:2.
Radnički 1923 secured its survival in the Serbian SuperLiga, and after the end of the match, the fans jumped over the fence and went after the football players of their own team. A group of hooligans with balaclavas on their heads wanted a physical confrontation with the football players, and some of them were hit.
As reported by “Sport Klub”, Miloš Ristić, a midfield football player, fared the worst, as his lip was cut along with several blows to the face. Foreigners were also attacked.
The football players fought back, so a real brawl was seen, and certain hooligans did not have the best time. In the end, members of the gendarmerie, with a rather slow reaction, drove the hooligans away toward the stand.
