Dusan Alimpijevic, the selector of Serbia and coach of Besiktas, has been named the best coach in the EuroCup for the 2025/26 season.
The Serb, together with the Turkish team, secured a place in the finals of the competition, and throughout the entire season, he was one of the leaders in the second-strongest European basketball competition.
The EuroCup announced that Alimpijevic is the best on all official platforms.
In the league part of the season, Besiktas had a record of 16-5, and in the playoffs, the Turkish team did not lose a single game.
They will fight for the trophy against Bourg, who eliminated them in the semifinals of the same competition two seasons ago.
These two teams have already played twice during the season, and both times Besiktas won very convincingly.
